I can firmly see how a daughter would try so hard to help and prove her - love, ability and worth. I liked how independent she was and how hard she worked to protect family and friends. It would be awesome to have special abilities to work with. The story was fun to read and I loved all the characters and how they fit into fighting all the evil ones. I have read all of the Bennett Sisters and now the Phantom Protectors series which is a follow up to the Bennett Sisters. They will keep you reading. Could not put them down. I believe I read one a day.
I really enjoyed reading Kate Allenton's Bennett Sisters series and now these; however, I get that fingernail on the blackboard sensation every time she uses the word "cypher" in place of the word, "syphon". PLEASE, PLEASE use a dictionary. You don't cypher off someone's energy, you steal, absorb or syphon. Cypher is a word meaning a code. Other than that, bring on more stories!
I have read every book by Kate Allenton so far. I love the detective work, the mystery, suspense, romance and energy of her stories. She tends to trigger a lot of emotions. You laugh, you cry and you always want more. This book is no difference from the rest. If you haven't read Kate's books yet, do it, now! You'll love them. You wont be able to put them down.
I have read all of 's Allenton's books & have enjoyed each one. If you like some paranormal mixed with romance then the Phantom Protector series is for you. The Bennett Sisters series should be read first as many of the characters in the Bennett Sisters books are referenced in the Phantom protectors.
