So it took me a week to finish this book due to working and tending to my son every second I was home but I wasn't gonna stop till I finished it! This series keeps you on the edge every moment omg I got upset at the times I had to stop, but honestly this is a GREAT book. It keeps you guessing and the scenes were never predictable and that's one thing I look for when I'm reading! Briann you did a great job I can honestly say you are an amazing writer! I'm ready for Erica & Meechi story already the suspense is painful lol the story line reminded me a lot of wat I've been through and reading this book actually taught me a lot, maybe I need to come to you for a few words of advice lol but GOOD JOB I'm proud of you. Thanks for bringing us a amazing series I'm sad it had to come to an end but I'm looking forward to reading what you have in store for us next!Product details

I am completely in love with this series and honestly a little sad that it has ended! This trilogy is full of suspense and is definitely a page turner. The development of these characters from the first book to the very last page of the 3rd book is amazing. For me, this book not only gave a damn good story, with a lot of interesting real-life drama lol, but also taught me many life lessons and reassured/confirmed others in the midst. There is definitely power in forgiveness!!! Reading this series, you will definitely find yourself growing through these characters especially if their situations tend to hit close to home. After reading the first book, I was definitely team Ant and disliked Brook, but in the back of my mind, as a social worker myself, I just knew it was going to be more to her story. By the end of the series, I fell in love with Brooke and her resilience. This couple proves that no couple is perfect but if you can love one another flaws and all and are willing to make it work despite one another's past mistakes, your love will grow to be stronger than ever, and you will grow to be perfect for each other. I've been in love with Ant since the beginning of the series, lol. David was an interesting character, definitely didn't expect his story to end the way it did, nor did I expect the amount of betrayal he portrayed. Now, Erica and Meechi, I am IN LOVE with this couple. Reading the first two books, I was skeptical about their relationship and if it would last because of how they met and the reasoning behind it, but I am happy they made it last. I am also excited at the fact that they have a spin-off!! Hopefully we can be updated on the other characters in the series as well during this spin-off?!!
Man where do I even begin. I loved this series from start to finish. David was such a lame it wasn't even funny. Its sad that Erica had to endure so much dealing with him. I loveddddddd Brooke and Ant's relationship. No couple is perfect, and the fact they could work things out in the end made my heart smile. Yes, Brooke was wrong for the affair, but I still loved her anyways. I can relate to Brooke in a way when it came to the whole baby situation and that hit home for me. And D-Rock is deff the man that Erica needs in her life. I hope that she can give him her all before its too late because trust me. Kamilah is deff lurking..Cant wait until the spinoff
I just can't get enough of the series. Thank God for the spinoff with Erica and Meechi! I love him so much, and I was so hurt about the major loss he took. I know that David really did some damage to Erica and its effected her views on love and trust tremendously. I hope she allows Meechi in. It was good to see Ant get to his happy because it had been a long time coming. I was never a fan of Brooke throughout this series, but I'm glad she went through counseling and Anthony was able to forgive. Awesome sorry!
That was really an ending & if you are a hopeless romantic, you will definitely love this series! I am so glad that Anthony remained the good guy & didnt let his circumstances deter him. David is truly the devil & deserves everything he gets. It was messed up that innocent people had to suffer. This book did not lack with the drama & suspense. Markie & Tasia caught me totally off guard. I guess you should really watch how you treat your "friends" because they can be worst than your enemies. I can honestly say that every book in this series held my interest from cover to cover & I didnt want to put it down until I finished. They flowed smoothly & there were no outrageous, unbelievable scenes. Another good job Briann!
I really loved this series.. I don't know who i loved more Ant or Meechi..they so different but so exciting in their own ways.. I'm so happy everything worked out for Ant and Brooke in the end. I hated her for cheating on my boo Ant but I forgave her after reading this.. Lord Briann my heart dropped when they was at Dr. Fallone office and Ant said that little lie I couldn't stop screaming no thats not true lol I was so happy to read he was teasing Brooke.. David got what he deserved but I was hoping for Meechi to end him even though he sexy 😍 he just urked my nerves.. Happy Erica and Brooke trying to move on.. I bet Erica won't be doing any threesome's with a close friend anymore 😕 Can't wait for Erica and Meech spin off
This series was amazing, but I am sad to see it end tho. I didn't care for Brooke til this book. She has redeemed herself. I could feel her pain & I did shed a few tears when she went to the house the first time & when they were in first therapy session. As for Ant, he's the definition of a real man. His character taught me the meaning of forgiveness. Meechi will always be my book bae, lol. He's a stand up guy. He's done bad things but that's part of the street life. He does have a conscience. I hope he stands by Erica. She has some insecurities she needs to work through. I'm glad karma is getting David. He deserves everything that comes his way. BriAnn Danae did a wonderful penmanship with this series & I look forward to reading more about Meechi & Erica & all the other books she writes.
